Overview

The Airbase Mount is a simple to install mount that (with the addition of the polycarbonate cap) provides airtight security and ceiling mount capability (increasing range performance) to your Airport Extreme and Time Capsule.

Airbase is designed to optimize the 11n/ac speed, so the Apple Extreme and Time Capsule can be facing in whichever direction on any flat surface to enhance the data speed and greatly extend the range. The Airbase is capable of a dual, impenetrable security system with a unique Torx head screw and Kensington lock slot, especially useful when installing in public places. The anodized high-grade aluminum and polycarbonate cap (sold separately) complement the Apple family aesthetic with venting in the base of the mount allows air to flow freely to prevent overheating.

High quality aluminum and PC materials deters theft, and provides ultra-safe ceiling mounting, without having any negative impact on the WiFi performance. The AirPort Express/Time Capsule antennas are placed at the highest point [on sheet aluminum shielding] within the plastic housing, far above the level of Airbase.

Our AirBase has the capability for the addition of a Polycarbonate security cap (sold separately as our AirGuard product), providing security for mounting in public spaces in addition to enabling mounting from a ceiling position
