The creation of Sasha s Surprise Eggs is inspired by my granddaughter Sasha who spent time in 2015 living with Grammie and PopPop while her parents were deployed by the US Army. After watching her excitement viewing Youtube videos of kids opening surprise eggs, I decided to recreate that fun using finger puppets and plastic eggs. The result was fantastic seeing her open eggs to find a different animal in each, then identifying the critter and creating stories while singing the tune of the "Family Finger Song" about the puppets. She loved hiding them around the house for me to find. They quickly became one of her favorite toys. Sasha s Surprise Eggs were hatched September 2015! Perfect for Imaginative play! These colorful plastic eggs contain individual handmade knitted finger puppets you can give for any holiday or event in a child s life.
