If you insert the battery,and the device can not work , please don t worry and follow up.
~Check if the battery is run down , if yes , you should change a new battery.
~If you changed a new battery and it still didn t work , it maybe the product has not been completely discharged .Please install the battery in reverse direction for 3 seconds , and repeat this twice ,then correct the installation .

In order to avoid measuring errors , please note the follow information
~ The reference area must be parallel to the target area .
~ The distance to be measured must be between 2 ft - 52 ft (0.6 m - 16 m) long.
~ The target area must have a smooth surface, so that the ultrasound can be well reflected.
~ Transparent surfaces, such as glass, generally reflect the ultrasound.
~ If a definitive measurement is not possible, the display shows the "Err" information. The  measurement must then be repeated.
