We went as thin as we could go with the leather. Thick materials increase the diameter of the bar which makes it harder to hold onto and burns out your grip. We also found that a thicker material will create pressure points on the fingers which further adds to grip fatigue.

Cloth or Tape based grips are great but they don t last more than a couple workouts. You also must spend the time to tape them to your wrist which is a waste of money. The Gauntlet Grips have all the same benefits but they also last. To date, Team DYNAM has not managed to wear out a single pair of Gauntlets. The grain will hold more chalk and resist polishing. Lastly, we used metal hardware and industrial hook and loop to make sure they weren t going anywhere.

The proper way to size these style of grips is to buy the biggest one and allow the material to hook over the bar. Our competitors still sell multiple sizes but we just decided to make all of them XL. More material means more protection and if you re competing, that s a big deal. If you have a smaller hand, the Gauntlets will just fold over to protect more of your fingers. There is also no Left or Right to deal with. Gauntlet Grips are a true One-Size-Fits-All!

Three holes covers a wider section of the palm and we spread the forces out to more fingers to make the grips last longer. The wrist strap is sized large enough to fit OVER our Bracer Wrist Wraps which are thicker than your standard cloth wraps. This allows you to pick your setup between palm, wrist, or both. The DYNAM logos also have a superhero element to them!

Hand wash in cold water, as needed, and air dry.
