HAND CRANK
One of the easiest ways to charge the radio and flashlight is by the hand crank. It doesn t require sunlight or a computer and is therefore perfect for nights in a tent. Turn the handle for a minute to produce 15-20 minutes of light or 15-20 minutes of medium volume radio. If you turn the handle for a minute you will also be able to charge your phone enough to talk for 3-5 minutes.

How to use:
Lift the handcrank. Hand crank either clockwise or counterclockwise for 3-5 minutes to activate the internal battery for initial use, or when the unit has been idle for more than 60 days. For subsequent charges, turn the handle crank for one minute or more. The red POWER INDICATOR illuminates when cranking.

SOLAR CHARGES
If you prefer to not use manpower to charge the dynamo radio flashlight, or if you want to charge it while doing something else, you can put the radio in average sunlight for around 10-12 hours then you are good to go! The red power indicator illuminates when charging.

USB CHARGER
Unfortunately the sun isn t always on our side and therefore it s good to have a backup plan. The radio flashlight can be charged through a USB cord connecting the radio to your computer. The USB cord can also work the other way around. If you connect the radio to your phone (or similar device) you can charge the phone by using the hand crank or solar panel.
