The quick release padded non-slip shoulder strap has two separate sets of PALS webbing for attachment of accessories. The main compartment contains numerous internal accessory pockets. There is a small internal pocket for iPod or Walkman with rubberized head phone Port. On one side there are three rows of PALS webbing over a flat concelaed pocket while the other side sports a water bottle pocket capable of holding a 32 oz/1L Nalgene. A 1.5 inch adjustable waist strap provides additional support and security. There are drain hole grommets throughout and three high Airflow Islands to keep your back cool. The monsoon is compatible with hydration systems with up to 100oz/3L reservoir. The single-shoulder configuration is particularly convenient for users wearing load-bearing vests and body armor, when putting on a traditional pack might slow you down. Space-wise, the 1,600-cubic-inch Monsoon is based on a triangular design, with a large main compartment and several internal accessories pockets, including a small iPod/MP3 player pocket with a rubberized headphone port. The pack also lets you attach outside accessories via the PALS webbing, which is located on the padded nonslip shoulder strap and on the pack s right side. On the left side sits a water bottle pocket capable of holding a 32-ounce Nalgene bottle. The pack is also hydration-compatible, with a hydration sleeve capable of holding up to a 100-ounce CamelBak reservoir).

To protect the contents, Maxpedition added a padded front cover secured by a 2-inch QR buckle and two crisscrossed compression straps. Other details include a 1.5-inch adjustable waist strap for additional support and security (the waist strap stows in a small elastic pocket); drain hole grommets throughout; and three high airflow islands to keep your back cool.
