Mehtaab: The Moonlight

Description

The character named Reuben is a writer by profession and is soon going to be awarded by a committee associated with art & literature for his untitled collection of writing work. The committee has requested him to finalize a name for that collection, and Reuben accepts it. A person from the committee is supposed to visit him at his residence, for knowing about the name that Reuben would have finalized. As Reuben finalizes a name, he then starts waiting for the person coming to meet him. The name is to be revealed at the end of the book, and till then it has to remain as suspense. In the meantime, Reuben goes through his flashback, and a few stories related to his past are mentioned in the book. The stories are full of emotions, suspense, and other interesting stuff. There is a story from his childhood which creates a special kind of sense in the reader. The second one is related to friendship, as it is the story of two friends, Reuben and Alan. The third and fourth are related to worldly ongoing, justice and injustice. And the fifth one could be termed as a love story as it is a story full of mystery which ends up in the unity of Reuben and his wife at present (her name is also to be revealed at the end of that story). All the five stories are interconnected to each other. After the five stories, the suspense of the name which Reuben has finalized for his collection, is ended. The name is revealed at the exact end of the book. The uniqueness added to the book is that apart from my own work, I ve mentioned some work of other authors too in my book,i.e; quotations, and the name of authors is also mentioned with the respective quotations.
