The Mylatech Survival emergency blanket is the result of over a year of manufacturing efforts to make a common product even better. We work exclusively with the top Mylar factory to develop a new coating process that allows the colored side to be non-reflective. These blankets use a modern technique of rolling PET film under tension into a chilled surface in order to preserve maximum strength. Then an aluminum vapor deposition process is used to evenly coat our blankets with aluminum nano-particles. - This allows for an ultra-thin yet perfect atomic lattice of aluminum atoms to bind to our film, this means that that the absolute maximum strength, and heat reflectivity is achieved. - We then cut the Mylar to 84 inches by 62 inches - the largest sized blanket available. All other emergency blankets use a process of simply heating up and mixing the materials then letting them cool, this reduces the strength and heat reflectivity of the end product. We are the only blanket on the market that doesn t have an overly reflective green side, ideal for concealment from all sources of light including the sun and flashlights These seemingly small changes make this the most durable, versatile and reliable blanket on the market not just another re-branded blanket with a different logo.
