The Rosemount 5081 Explosion-Proof Transmitter provides accurate and reliable pH (range of 0 to 14) and ORP (range of -1400 to +1400mV) readings and is compatible with most Rosemount sensors. This pH sensor features a rugged 4X type enclosure that is weatherproof, corrosion-resistant and has an intrinsically safe design that enables it to be used in hazardous environments. Switching between pH and ORP measurements takes only seconds and users can quickly read measurements off the 2-line display of the large, easy-to-read screen.
This ORP/pH meter is loop powered and has an analog 4-20 mA transmitter output with HART Digital Communication signal. The 5081PHT2067 model includes a handheld infrared remote that works from as far as 6 feet away, and carries FM and CSA Explosion-proof ratings and is FM approved to be intrinsically safe and non-incendive. A 2-point buffer calibration on this pH/ORP meter helps to reduce errors, and continuous diagnostics monitoring lets the user know right away if there are any diagnostic issues.
