Our mugs are made of 100% Pure Copper. That s right all copper! No stainless steel or nickel filler. We use a barrel style mug design with a hammered texture that bends and reflects light off the smooth polished copper surface. The handles are also made of pure copper and our welded onto the mug exterior without the use of rivets or bolts (which will eventually leak and are more of a hassle to clean!). These mugs have no lacquer or lining on the inside. Just pure copper so taste the Moscow Mule the way it s supposed to be. There is a thin layer of food grade lacquer applied to the mug exterior to preserve the polished copper shine.
