Sun Gro Metro Mix 360 Sun-Coir is the premium choice for a wide range of plants grown in smaller container types or cell packs. Also great for landscape/plantscape applications where better water holding characteristics are desired. Excellent for potted plants, bedding and hanging basket production, for propagation of seed cuttings and "direct-stick" applications or with overhead, sub-irrigation and drip systems. Coir is an innovative byproduct of coconut processing and acts like a sponge to absorb up to nine times its own volume. Coir won t pack down which allows for better soil aeration. Among the best fillers for raised beds and areas where heat, low humidity and arid winds dry out potting soils too quickly. Plants will be better prepared to cope with sudden weather changes as water is held by coir in the root zone.
