FIRE STARTER XL WITH SURVIVAL KIT

STURDY, DURABLE and LAST FOREVER - These are three (or four) words that describe our new Fire Starter! With it s 2.5 x 0.5" ferrocerium rod and aluminium cylinder case it s a Fire Starter to rely on!

As if this extra large, high-quality Fire Starter wasn t enough we have also added an emergency kit wrapped in paracord, a scraper and snap hook to it. We want to make sure you have everything you need!

And here are some examples on how to use the kit when exploring in nature:
Tinder: The tinder is the perfect supplement to the Fire Starter as it makes it easier for the sparks to catch fire.
Safety pins: The safety pins can be used to temporarily repair clothing and gear.
Paracord: Can be used for securing nets, tents shelters and cargo, lashing poles together, repairing straps or belts. These are just a few examples of possible uses, the applications for paracord are endless. WARNING: Paracord is NOT intended for mountaineering/climbing.
Fishing gear: The kit contains Weights, Swivels, Fishing hooks, Floats and Fishing lines which give you a good base to catch fish.

How to create a fire:
Separate the "lid" part from the Fire Starter.
The Fire Starter is covered in a protective black coating. Scrape this off using the striker.
Prepare your chosen tinder. We recommend you to use the tinder included in the survival kit.
Hold the striker against the top of the flint rod at a 45° angle. Scrape the striker down the rod, with a rapid even movements. Allow sparks to fall onto tinder.
Transfer tinder to fire when burning evenly. Slowly add larger kindling so as not to smother the flame.
